god forbid a KOREAN man in KOREA speaking KOREAN on a KOREAN show airing in KOREA.
if youre not korean stop acting like you know more about the korean language than an actually native korean person. yeonjun did nothing wrong. yall are the ones making it weird.
notice how no one who is KOREAN is saying anything about it because they know the actual mean of the word but some fuckass people who know no korean are trying to turn it into something it’s not
hello, we have seen a clip of YJ going around and we wanted to explain the nuance of the word “sexy”. it’s understandable as to why people feel uncomfortable by it because to many of us, the word “sexy” carries a sexual undertone. however, the word “sexy” in korea carries a significantly less sexual undertone and is rather used as calling someone attractive, handsome and/or cool. we would never defend something that is wholeheartedly weird. we won’t bash those who feel uncomfortable because again, most people aren’t aware that the term carries different undertones.
What’s terrifying about the hate train against Yeonjun isn’t just the misinformation itself. It’s the enthusiasm people show when they finally find an excuse to tear him down
