@guideforman This is so stupid. He borrowed money against his equity, which he then has to pay the loan back. Everton does this on a HELOC or any time you use property as collateral.
@Sargon_of_Akkad No… the whole point is that power corrupts. Frodo used the ring, and he’s not evil. Sam used the ring briefly and he’s not evil. Without even using the ring, the promise of its power was enough to corrupt an objectively good man in Boromir. This is a shit take.
@divisionorderuk@BBCBreakfast@KemiBadenoch@RobertJenrick This is such a stupid post. How many middle class white boys with both parents in the home have stabbed girls this decade in Britain? I’m sure it’s much less than girls who have been victimized by Muslim rape gangs.
@leeharris Did I completely miss the plot? Adolescence is about a disaffected boy influenced by the internet and horribly bullied who murders the person bullying him, and all the conversation is about toxic masculinity and not bullying?
@sleepy_devo It does guarantee their rights, they forfeit these rights as soon as they enter the country illegally, just like someone who pulls a gun on a cop forfeits their right to life.
@CFBNerds This makes zero sense when you realize that
1) They make substantially higher profits on games today than they ever did in the 90's or 00's
2) With digital sales they eliminate significant manufacturing and distribution charges without lowering prices comparably
