You’re not wrong that Drummond would be terrible, but anymore I’m not confident we the people actually decide in the end. Whoever “they” is will prop up their lemming, and for some crazy ass reason, we will accept it. Elected officials will always represent the community from which they came, no matter what their campaign slogan says.

Mazzei, McCall, Keating, and Drummond come from a common community of wealth and privilege, each dropping millions of their own cash on the race without thought and without it in any way impacting their standard of living. For them this race is a side investment. A hobby. Soft hands, pristinely clean shirts, $2000 boots that don't know the touch of manure. If attained, they will only represent the interests of the wealthy elite and privileged of Oklahoma and DC. They all already cater to it, shamelessly.

@JakeMerrick4Gov comes from hard work, running small businesses, working for small businesses, supporting a family month to month, and sacrificing to do what he believes is right. Unlike his competition, he feels the financial pain of this race every day, but fights through it. When he becomes governor, he will represent the interests of those Oklahomans who have to work for a living, those with callouses on their hands who have to check their account balance before they write a check. The people from his community are those who face real struggles and who sacrifice to do what they believe is right.
