@aaron_renn Just purchased a townhouse in Westfield, the property tax is $12,000. If you own a second home in Indiana, the property tax is very high - 2%. So good for you, not the sane deal for most of us who want to have a place close to our kids.

@drantbradley @aaron_renn Agreed. Sounds like too many boys are raised by their moms and not their dads. A Dad mentality is to expose them to risks/adventure/independence/consequences. At least this is true in my experience with my father and how I raised my boys.

@drantbradley Hmm. Having come from a divorced home, it depends on so many factors that it is impossible to give a good answer without understanding the relationship dynamics ( and there are many). There are a few red flags with your proposal as well. ( amount of texting, no phone calls)

@drantbradley I would be interested in your thoughts. Off the cuff, I would submit during my lifetime Conservatives come off significantly less empathy than Liberals. Strong empathy is typically ( not always) stronger in women’s personalities than in men.
