It’s firmly in the Best Pic race, showed up all over the BAFTA longlists, is from a two-time nominee for Yorgos films, and it feels like a flashier option than other contenders.

@expert_oscar I still think Stewart will be nom’d, but a win always felt like hope-dicting to me. The movie is too divisive outside of Film Twitter and even the critical acclaim isn’t unanimous.

I think Kidman will win because of the role and Ricardos having the best shot at a Picture nom.
