@thsottiaux @OpenAI I feel like I’ve been getting a lot of apply patch issues on the Windows (work machine) since the big update combining the apps. As a result, changes take forever to make. I see a couple similar reports on GitHub but not sure if they align exactly with what I’m experiencing.

Given the app is so new it’s hard to tell what’s a knowledge gap on my part and what just isn’t there yet. 😆

@OrenMe @GitHubCopilot @code The app is also repo-focused, so in the monorepo I can’t open a single application within the monorepo, I can only open the whole repo. We’re working on finally breaking that repo up but annoying to deal with for now. Codex handles that fine!

@Dimillian Being able to reference a thread from within another thread. You can use @ or copy link in the desktop app but not mobile.

@thsottiaux Codex pain point: unless I'm missing it, I can't seem to set a default directory for where I want my project directories to go. I don't want everything in my user profile directory by default (I have a projects dir under there that I put everything).

@thsottiaux Using /goal to decompile/reverse engineer PS2 and GameCube era games (was previously using a Python script to simulate a loop) and have an automation to give me hourly reports of matching function progress. ❤️ Codex and GPT-5.5. Exhausting my $200/month usage though 😊

@thsottiaux Ability to have multiple folders in a single project without it just being a parent dir (I largely work in a mono-repo + some smaller split off repos and like having multiple dirs open to maintain coherency across changes that touch everything). Or a way to group related dirs

@OrenMe @code @GitHubCopilot I have a custom planner and implementation flow and as part of the implementation flow it automatically invokes a custom code reviewer subagent that gets the whole plan and current plan step for context. Works great! Slows things down a bit but catches a lot of stuff.

@OrenMe When talking about context windows I use the comparison of how much you can say to another person in one round before their memories start getting muddy, and I'm definitely aware of that in my actual conversations too.

@OrenMe @code I’ve been Insiders only for a long time, though the move to weekly releases might change that. My use case was for looking at screenshots taking after Cypress automation failures.
