DETACHED FROM REALITY
Mark Carney just claimed the average FAMILY spends $800 per month on groceries or $10,000 per year.
Has he gone to the grocery store?
4 steaks 🥩 is $100 only one meal
If you ate BEEF 20 days a month x $100 that’s $2,000 without veggies, fruit or carbs
Referendum proponent now says the vote he demanded is a waste of taxpayers’ money
Despite collecting 400,000 signatures demanding a referendum be held, Thomas Lukaszuk is repeating unverified claims about the cost.

Vote for Alberta this fall, you won't get another chance.
Ottawa is moving fast to censor free speech online, to strip away privacy and anonymity and to regulate and restrict any content, debate or discussion which threatens "social stability", how ever cabinet defines it.
This will be the end of any social or political movement they don't approve of, all in the name of "online safety".
Hear me out for a second. If we put dangerous and violent criminals into the same prison with other criminals...doesn't it seem like this might eliminate some repeat offenders?
Please don't lie on Twitter.
Your scheme forces adults to provide ID to get on social media to prove they're not children.
You're using kids as an excuse to track adults.
And we remember you supported seizing bank accounts during the trucker convoy: https://t.co/LfiXiR6hlt
The media loves to put forward the Foghorn Leghorn-like Rath as the face of Alberta sovereignty.
I can see why they prefer him over Keith Wilson.
Agree or disagree with Wilson, he puts forward that movement’s arguments in clear and rational terms.
He makes many of the same old arguments made by federalist Alberta conservatives. Those arguments are casually ignored or scoffed at by the Laurentian Clique.
Wilson comes to a different solution than federalist Albertans to the same essential problem of grievances ignored.
But they all see the same fundamental issue — the callous disregard and even contempt for Albertan’s desire to reject degrowth and recession, to reject the politics of Carney’s hero Greta Thunberg, and to build a prosperous society.
There are only two ways out of a broken relationship ... forced divorce or casket.
Albertans need to decide their future & choose whether they force a divorce with Canada (yep even if it means getting rid of @ABDanielleSmith) or stay in Canada to eventually leave in a herse.
🚨Other G7 leaders face their parliament.
Other G7 leaders take opposition questions.
Other G7 leaders answer to voters.
Carney answers to Davos.
Carney answers to Brookfield.
Carney answers to no one in Ottawa.
This isn’t leadership. It’s occupation.

Fun Facts : Newfoundland was allowed to have a referendum to join Canada in 1948 & joined Canada in 1949.
Quebec is legally a nation within Canada & had 2 referendums on separation.
Canada has 634 recognized First Nations governments or bands.
Albertans are told even though they met the legal threshold for a referendum on separation, they can only have a referendum, to see if they want a referendum.
Meanwhile Alberta pays all the bills & gets an insignificant fraction of political representation in Canada.
The Canadian Senate is unelected and considered the chamber of sober second thought.
Never have I seen a country that intentionally divides itself into hundreds of nations, with an increasingly autocratic centralized government, that refuses to allow a referendum based on region.
@MarkJCarney 14 year-olds kids can register with your party and vote for you as their leader, but they can't research policies and issues using the internet. Got it.
A reporter asked Farkas why he felt it was necessary to weigh in on independence. Farkas' excuse is that talk of independence is scaring away jobs.
"There's a reason the Bank of Montreal is no longer in Montreal"
Really?
It was founded in 1817 in Montreal and remains legally headquartered there today. In 1977, the bank relocated its operational headquarters (and executive offices) to First Canadian Place on Bay Street in Toronto. This is where most day-to-day operations, senior executives (including the chairman and president at the time), and key functions have been based since.
The legal/corporate head office has stayed in Montreal while Toronto has served as the practical/operational base for decades. This dual structure is common for many banks with deep roots in other cities or provinces, but business needs tied to Toronto's financial district (i.e. RBC, Scotia and National).
Also, Quebec's referendums occurred in 1980 and 1995, years after BMO moved.
Mayor Farkas...want to know how to attract businesses to your city? Lower taxes, offer them value for their money......and keep the water running.
Instead of addressing the out of control spending that has caused the out of control inflation, Carney is doing more out of control spending that will lead to more out of control inflation.
Neither the @liberal_party nor the @CPC_HQ have any intent of reforming this injustice or Equalization
The vast majority of voters east of Saskatchewan have no desire to change these things either.
Alberta Independence
It’s about a hell of a lot more than a pipeline
