We hear many things about recent crypto developments in Salvador which aims to become a #BTC Eldorado.

Some people may be tempted to move there, but is it worth it when weighting the risks involved ?
All the more so as BTC, even though not anymore an “experimental asset”, is still heavily volatile and can substantially reduce your net worth in periods of high fluctuation (which are a historical fact).
@DegodWillie@luke_broyles Personally I think you are right, but some analysts also expect #BTC to slightly reduce c 20%-30% just after halving , before skyrocketing again.
Makes no sense to me but this is what I sometimes read in financial papers.
@DrEliDavid Similar feature in investing and business fields : everybody needs to take account for his/her own choices.
Admit when you were wrong and move on.
Selling at €64k/BTC now after investing when it was 3x/4x/5x lower means you made a huge gains. ✅
‼️BUT it also means that EURO and USD depreciates massively against BTC.
So your Fiat gains (€ or $) will be worth less and less, having lost a lot of purchasing power…
The most difficult answer about #Bitcoin is:
Would you sell your position if you had bought BTC a year, or longer ago, and now have made a huge unrealised gain?
It is not that easy to answer…
