@ladolcevolk It is annoying when you start doing it, though. I'm reading an intro book on philosophy of science, going one chapter every 1 day or 2. Then at the epilogue the author goes "so these are the three topics I focused on through the book" and I don't remember the first two.

It's mostly retelling of classic stories like Cinderella, but there's also retelling of Eastern stories, and even a retelling of Great Gatsby by Nghi Vo.

@ladolcevolk And he's also unique in that (I believe) he's the only 'serious' villain who made that silly over-the-top cartoony face when he faces Luffy? Every other villain has their moments of being surprised by Luffy, but none was ever so distraught.

@ExistentialEnso Genuine question: how do you then define non-art? How do you know something doesn't have a human intention behind it? At best all you can say is "As far as I know there is no human (or mind) that intends this to be art".

@ladolcevolk This is the most painful part of a 'life continues' ending. After a long time looking through one character's POV, to have it now removed, and that character move on to the Undiscovered Country.

To me it hurts more in romances, because now there are TWO people I have to let go.
