Our property tax system is beyond broken.
I want to fix it.
I’m talking to people across CT about how we can do it, but I want to hear from you.
How is this tax is impacting you?
What ideas do you have?
Shoot me a text or an email and let’s do this.

Balancing any budget requires a lot of hard choices and compromise.
So as the Governor and legislature finalize our new state budget, I challenged the students at Rocky Hill High to see if they could find common ground and balance the budget themselves.
Can high schoolers balance the state budget?
I visited Rocky Hill High School this morning where a group of students were tasked with tackling many of the same debates currently consuming the Capitol.
See what they came up with tonight @WTNH.

You've probably been hearing a lot about the debt ceiling, so for this month's Letter of the First video, I break down what it is and what it means for Connecticut.
This is my 100th day as Comptroller.
I'm really proud of the work our office is doing to help the people of Connecticut, and we're just getting started.
Here's a quick recap of what we've been up to these last 100 days.
So grateful for the incredible group of women I get to work with in the Comptroller’s office and the contributions they make every day to our state.
To them and all women in Connecticut, Happy #InternationalWomensDay!
Our team told me it was International Open Data Day.
Here’s what happened.
Well—technically, it was yesterday, but thankfully OpenCT is up year-round for your data needs. Check it out: https://t.co/gzSmRlbGV2.
📺In 60 seconds (or less), I’ll give you an update on CT’s economy and budget on the first of each month—check it out!

Really excited to get sworn in tomorrow and get to work as Connecticut's 67th Comptroller.
