@thataquariusb@DanWetzel Carli Lloyd getting a hat trick in the Women's World Cup final tells me she knows about the importance of big time players stepping up for big games.
@LizClaman Congratulations, keep up the great work. Admittedly, though, I'm a bit confused why Fox Business is #2 on "Market Hours" when Fox Business has 2,000 more viewers than CNBC during that time period.
@FOXSports@USMNT If the US team feeds off the crowd, then this is a great stadium for that to happen. Wouldn't surprise me if the first USA goal results in a measurable ground shaking at the stadium.
@seattletimes Fine with me. My SCL light bill averages less than $40 a month, which is minimal compared to people I know who are served by private electric companies. Private companies that provide cable and internet are the real budget killers.
@SocialSecurity@realDonaldTrump@POTUS Interesting. So what you are saying is that the Big Beautiful Bill’s provisions that push the projected Social Security insolvency date from early 2033 to late 2032 actually protects and strengthens Social Security.
@cecile_shaw8@politico Thank Trump and the Fed's 2020 fiscal and monetary actions in response to COVID for the inflation during Biden's time in office.
@yance17953250@JamieBonkiewicz@Texasexpatriate I'm not even a Democrat, but inflation under Biden started with Trump's $2.3 trillion+ COVID relief programs & the Fed's 2020 QE and interest rate cuts. Add more COVID relief under Biden & a Russia-Ukraine war affecting gas prices and the inflation occurs during Biden's term.
@ForeignPolicy Trump doesn't push hard against Putin, Xi or even Kim Jong Un. They all have what Trump admires and wants himself - absolute authority and dictatorial control.
@princess_kim_k $6.19 for regular this AM. I'm fortunate in that I can deal with the price increase since I'm in a position where I can afford it. But this has to be tough on those that might earn less and/or need to fill up on a frequent basis.
@Time4Courage@ImBreckWorsham There's tax on social security. I just paid approx. $7,200 on my 2025 social security benefits (85% of social security benefits taxable at 24% marginal tax rate). $6,000 temporary standard deduction increase for those 65+ phases out completely at $175K and I didn't qualify.
@TerranHawkins@ElectionTime_ Nice you have smart friends, co-workers and relatives. I guess I’m stupid compared to everyone you socialize with. But even as dumb as I am, one thing I don’t do is make misleading statements to drive home a point.
@SelfMadeMastery Not necessarily sad to see him leave as Fed Chair but I don't see him as solely accountable for monetary policy and interest rate decisions, up or down. It's the 12 member Federal Open Market Committee that votes on rates.
@AZ_Brittney $5.79 for regular today at a Shell station. Granted, Shell tends to be higher than some other brands, and I think the "pay cash" price was 10 cents per gallon lower, but premium was over $6.00 per gallon, and I haven't seen that before.
