As a result of ongoing research into the past year (or perhaps longer) of the degradation of Alex Yard's behavior and composure, and his continued harassment and abuse of others here and on YouTube, I have unlocked this account and opened my DMs.
Alex Yard is so obsessed with convincing people that the failed takedowns that ruined his career were actually the right opinion all along that he is now gleefully involving groomers and sexual abusers into his demented narrative.
@JamianGerard Yes, art created by human hands is better than art algorithmically stolen from human hands.
Fuck's sake, you freaks are so terrified of no one respecting you.
Good. You should be.
@tyminski_marek tl;dr: The "gamers" you speak of in this deleted tweet don't want great games. They HAD a great game, then review bombed it because they didn't like one of the names attached to it after the fact.
That is the textbook definition of a political and social agenda, from "gamers".
@tyminski_marek Like, who the fuck was complaining about political or social agendas in Slay the Spire 2?
Weird-ass freaks got upset after already enjoying the game because they've been guzzling Mark Kern's radioactive e-spunk and can't fathom that this shit isn't the apocalypse.
@gimmebosscoffee@tyminski_marek Why would they stop contracting them?
The game sold like hotcakes and people loved it, it wasn't until after that you all started pretending the game was "actually bad the whole time".
@RappyGrinder@tyminski_marek Why would any game in the history of this industry ever indicate ahead of time who consulted on a video game?
Truly idiotic sentiment for virtue signaling Grummling dorks.
@tyminski_marek So what?
The game is, by your own admission, very successful. People love it. So clearly, nothing was in any way ruined by having a DEI consultant.
Why are people such huge fucking babies about this?
Reggie Fils-Aimé says an Amazon Executive asked for something illegal of Nintendo, so they stopped working together for a time:
“At that time, you know, just in the Americas, I was selling ten million DS’ a year, we’re driving a lot of revenue. We had a lot of scale. And, at the time, Amazon was looking to get bigger into the video game space. Amazon’s mentality back then is they wanted to have the lowest price out in the marketplace, even lower than Walmart. And one of their executives called me… well, it was a conversation that got to me after it had progressed through all of the levels of my sales organization, and essentially what Amazon wanted is an obscene amount of support, financial support, so they could have the lowest price and beat Walmart. I literally said to the executive, “You know that’s illegal, right? I can’t do that.” You know you get silence on the other end, ‘but this is what I want.’
Literally we stopped selling to Amazon, and it’s because I wasn’t going to do something illegal. I wasn’t going to do something that would put at risk the relationship we have with other retailers. But it also set the stage to say, look, you’re not going to push me around. This is the way we do business. And so that’s how over time you build respect.”
