We’re deeply saddened to share that fellow Wednesdayite Lee Brown lost his battle with cancer on the day of our game against Bradford.

Sheffield Wednesday was a huge part of the bond he shared with his family, following the Owls together home and away.

At the family’s request, we’re asking all Wednesdayites to join in a minute’s applause during the 50th minute against Bromley this Saturday.

Let’s make sure Hillsborough comes together and gives one of our own the tribute he deserves. 💙

@domhowson It’s the first bad bit of business by Simon in my opinion, the contract length I mean. It’s his injury record it should have been a 1 year deal with an option to extend it. But it’s football you can’t always get things right and hindsight is a wonderful thing.

@benswfc15 @PJBuckingham I think for the first season the owners don’t mind it, can still do abit of a team rebuild. But it gives them some freedom to do the necessary work required to do all the on the facilities that’s been forgotten about for decades.

Definitely missed a trick with season tickets, could have sold it to sponsors to be on the front of it and included on digital card aswell, access to 24,000 eyes all season round. Personally plain is naff and won’t stop the people buying them. #swfc

Going to throw this out there and probably get some shit for it. Yes ticket prices are abit high, and food and drink won’t be much different to before… this time we have an owner and business model that needs cash to help fund these projects. The fans will see the benefit #swfc
