@Bromleians can confirm that First Team Managers Frankie Shaw and Max Blood have stepped down from their roles due to personal and work commitments.
The Committee would like to place on record its sincere thanks to both Frankie and Max for
all of their hard work, commitment and efforts over the past two seasons. Their dedication
to the club has been greatly appreciated and we wish them both the very best for the
future. We hope to see both Frankie and Max back at the John Cooper Ground, the home of
the Broms, in some capacity again in the future.
The club can also confirm Nathan Quilty has decided to step back from first team football.
Nathan has been Bromleians club captain for the past seven years and
has been a fantastic servant to the club throughout that time, leading the side with great commitment and professionalism.
Everyone at Bromleians thanks Nathan for his tremendous contribution over the years and wishes him all the very best moving forward.
Following the departures, the Committee undertook a thorough process to appoint a new First Team Manager and would also like to place on record its thanks to former player Phil Spurgeon for his assistance and support during that process.
The club hopes Phil will
continue to be involved in some capacity next season.
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Luke Jefferies as First Team Manager.
Luke joins Bromleians having previously held coaching roles at Chislehurst Glebe FC, most recently managing both their Under 23 Development Squad and Reserve Team, who competed in the same division as Bromleians during the 2024/25 season.
Luke brings with him strong knowledge of Kent County and @SCEFLeague Development football and a real enthusiasm to help develop the club moving forward.
The club will now be actively recruiting players ahead of the new season.
Details regarding trial matches and pre-season arrangements will be announced in due course.
Any players interested in joining Bromleians FC are encouraged to contact the club via [email protected] ).
The Committee would like to extend a very warm Broms welcome to Luke and looks forward to working with him as we continue to develop the First Team, with the aim of returning to the KCL Premier Division and progressing onwards towards the Southern Counties East League.
