@allenholub Scrum gives some (illusion of?) control to managers of the dev process. It doesn't add any value to the team itself at best. Many times becomes a pain in the ass.
"We have no competitors" is a lame excuse for #prodmgmt. You're always competing against something -- even if you have a revolutionary innovation, you're competing against the status quo, which is sometimes the toughest competitor.

I've observed a common (IMO) anti-pattern: people measuring process without measuring business. This ignores that you can execute a process perfectly yet still go bankrupt.... (on time delivery being one example) #NoEstimates
