@KylePorterNS This generation of US players just don’t have the juice for the team competitions. Team sports completely different than individual sports.
@HeyUncleBlazer RB1 no. But I think he’s going to get 6-8 touches a game. Would love to see some RPO packages with him in the flat and Bo/Ja’kobi lined up in the backfield. Could put a lot stress on defenses.
@MichiganCheats3@ryandaytime Let’s see what we have first. Long season ahead still. Looking to see improvements each week now that we are in conference play. And you can throw the Kent State game out, that was a scrimmage.
@steeleC22 Excited to see how this team improves and evolves over the next 4 weeks. Everyone worrying about the offense needs to step back and see the forrest through the trees. Expecting perfection by week 3 is silly. It’s a young group that is going to improve.
@TonyGerdeman@IceShark8 Also, how much of that 0-4 was Day and Arthur Smith trying to challenge their guys to pick it up running the ball up the middle? Was pretty clear Day was using that game as a scrimmage.
@tdscriptOH I agree with you. But not sure if it’s Oline. RBs have to win one on one in red zone, and they have not. Same issue when they’re not in RZ. No explosiveness or ability to break tackles
@TheBuckeyeNut@Cthunder29 Julian Sayin is fine. He missed 2 throws yesterday. The issue is with the run game, especially in red zone. RBs have to win one on one down there and they have not. Can’t be one dimensional
@bucks3317 Got to get him more playing time. His ceiling is higher than any of our WRs not named Jeremiah. He’s going to improve with each rep. Day would rather play the guy who won’t make mistakes and won’t lose you the game than the guy who may screw up but can win you the game.
