SSB Lecturers of Odisha cannot apply for UGC-recognised Faculty Development Programmes because the application portal doesn’t recognise the designation 'Lecturer" that was already scrapped by UGC years ago.

Question is — why should that stop us from doing FDPs? @DHE_Odisha

OSLA had a productive discussion with the High-Level Expert Committee. We placed the long-pending concerns of SSB Lecturers of Odisha before the Committee. We are hopeful that our issues would be examined with a commitment to justice in the larger interest of higher education.

We hv been working as SSB LECTURER in Odisha Non-Govt Aided Colleges. We r teaching degree students but getting equal or in some cases less salary than PGT teachers. Pray for grade pay hike from 4600 to 5400.Present grade pay is a great injustice to a College Lecturer

Odisha Directorate NCC Sailing Expedition at Chilka Lake Flagged Off on 11 Oct 2022 by Col Rajinish Kapoor, Group Commander, Cuttack Group.
60 cadets are participating, will cover a total distance of 210 KM in 10 Days.

150 #NCC Cadets from Sainik School Bhubaneswar and #NCC Group Cuttack participated in cleaning of Mahanadi River Bank, Bali Yatra Ground at Cuttack. 175 kgs of Plastic waste was collected and handed to Cuttack Municipal Corporation.
