***MISSING PERSON***
The Dallas Police Department is requesting assistance in locating Henry (Hank) Vessel.
He was last seen this morning around 11:00 AM leaving his home in Dallas and was seen wearing a t-shirt, blue jeans, and black leather shoes.
If Henry or his vehicle are seen, please call your local law enforcement agency, as he could be anywhere in the valley. With any tips or information, please contact Detective Jordan Schrock with Dallas Police at 503-831-3516. Case number 21-1304.
Henry was most likely headed to the Salem area to shop, but often gets lost.
Henry has some cognitive impairment issues but should be fully aware of who he is. He drives a white PT Cruiser with the Oregon plate of "147CHV."
As a result of the investigation, Neely was lodged at the Polk County Jail for Robbery in the Second Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Menacing, Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle, Theft in the Second Degree, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
At about 4:45 this morning Dallas Police responded to a call in the 600 block of SE Fir Villa Road. The complainant’s husband had interrupted a theft from their vehicle, and began to fight with the suspect. The suspect & complainant had reported to both have a firearm.
With help from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Dallas police detained the suspect, Evan Neely, and located both firearms.
Neely’s firearm was identified as a BB gun, which appeared to be identical to a real handgun.
Are you missing a BB gun? If so, we found it in the 300 block of NW Denton Avenue. If you would like it back, please describe it to us. We’d love to return it! Please reference case number 21-328 and contact Officer Carl Dohrman at 503-831-3516 or message us.
