Great question .... two positives of #pmdd for me have been: 1οΈβ£ finally 'understanding' the events from the past 22yrs of my life; and 2οΈβ£ finding one of the best and supportive online support communities out there - thankyou to all #pmddpeeps#pmddawareness#severepms
Having a #premenstrualdisorder is hard enough but it can be even harder if you don't have the right care. But help IS out there; we have an ever growing list of recommended providers - take a look at the link in our bio to find a provider near you.

I am currently reading this newly published book by @SurMenoNYTM. Surgical menopause is completely different from menopause that happens naturally. This book is a very helpful source of information for any woman who is in surgical menopause or is thinking about having surgery.
The menopause is an organisation issue and not just a women's one. We need to normalise the conversation in the workplace and empower women and organisations with the knowledge and tools to create a supportive and inclusive environment for menopausal women. #menopause
βWe need to normalise menopause, not be shamed by it. And women need to cast off their fear about treatment and feel empowered to seek helpβ Read more from The Guardian https://t.co/FY6AJbjc5I
We know how helpful it can be to speak with others who understand Premenstrual Disorders, and we're thrilled to have launched our new video support groups, moderated by trained IAPMD Peer Support Facilitators.

A simple tweet to say that at 7mths post op for #pmdd I am doing well. Although the road to recovery isn't pretty there HAS been more mental stability in the past few months than in the last 20yrs. Surgical menopause is no walk in the park but it's night & day to hell of pmdd π
