While I don't have much hope of a resolution since I'm receiving e-mails saying that the template will be "auto-delivered" in June (even though we don't need it and won't use it), this shows a disconnect between the way @Instructure does business and the needs of its customers.

Our only complaint with @Canvas_by_Inst is that they told us we would need a $2000 Ready-Made template. Though we realized it would not fit our class workflow and informed them of this before the start date, they refuse to give us a refund or credit towards our next renewal.

The very idea that refund for a purchased service that has not been used and for which a cancellation has been immediately requested is somehow subject to a "concession" on @Instructure's part goes against the practices of the rest of the industry and digital commerce in general.

@sama The internal editor engine is still horrible. Trying to work on a shared GPT document is a comedy of errors. Instead of leaving sections alone it replaces them with (content unmodified), thus deleting everything you've worked on together in that section.

@discord_support I don't "feel" the instructions were unclear. The instructions were, quite literally, to open a ticket with the appeals team and to MENTION my daughter's e-mail address in my request. There's nothing unclear about that, the instructions were just wrong.

@discord_support is useless. Been given the runaround and told I needed to submit another ticket through another link. Following instructions got me a reply: to open another ticket from my daughter’s email. All this because they “disabled” her account before she ever logged in!
