@Puggster I’ve played rugby for 40 years. There’s nothing like it for inclusiveness and building a team spirit. It allows for people of all shapes, sizes and speeds to play a part in the team. Keep going Alfie…I reckon you’ve got another 30 years’ playing in you yet!
@awdorset @PortsCityMuseum I actually remember teas like that with my Great Aunts in the 1970s. Mr Kipling’s fondant fancies were made for this. Slightly intrigued by dessert: sherry trifle with shot glasses (presumably for Harvey’s Bristol Cream!)
@awdorset I used to spend a lot of time running around the Hot Walls and the Camber Docks playing with friends. There were fewer tourists and cars around so lots of fun on bikes and almost no danger
@jonathan_michie@BlavatnikSchool@KelloggOx@UniofOxford One of best things about being a graduate student at @UniofOxford is the large number of international students. Provides greater diversity of thought / conversations during studies and an amazing global network afterwards.
@ilikeoldbooks Not Sloane Square but….Ladbroke Arms in Notting Hill and Windsor Castle in Kensington are two faves of mine. Good food and beers / wines.
@william_whyte@NewCollegeChoir Top chorister names!! Good luck, chaps. My 4 years as a cathedral chorister were fantastic. Amazing music in stunning surroundings.
@DrNadiaChaudhri So very, very sad that a life ends so early. You have become a massive inspiration to so many people. Sending condolences and best wishes for the future to your Sun and Moon.
