This is no longer just about “opinions” on a podcast or posts on social media. We are watching a new form of foreign influence operation unfold in real time: powerful American influencers traveling to Russia, meeting inside Kremlin-friendly circles, then coming back to American audiences and pushing narratives that benefit Vladimir Putin.

Under FARA, certain agents of foreign principals engaged in political activity are required to publicly disclose those relationships, activities, receipts, and disbursements.

This is not about silencing speech. This is about transparency.
