the anti-datacenter movement is the human superorganism correctly recognizing that it is building its successor and then hallucinating local reasons for why it feels afraid
bitcoin mining proved that people do not actually care very much about egregious power consumption in the abstract. inaccurate tropes about water use and power bills are implementation details
the superorganism has recognized the threat before its individual cells know what they are reacting to. water and power are simply a manifestation of the fear found
Chinese interview: The concept of atonement didn’t really exist in Ancient Greece and it didn’t exist in Homer’s Odyssey. It exists in your Odyssey. Did you Christianize the Odyssey?
American interview: spin the snack wheel and then read these thirst tweets they called you zaddy
One pattern I find useful for working with LLMs is a nice long ramble session. Sometimes the LLM needs more bits to understand what you're trying to achieve, but you're too lazy to type them. In these cases I like to lean back, switch to /voice and just ramble for like 10 minutes, total mess, anything goes, full stream of consciousness. Sometimes I declare it up top, something like "switching to speech recognition sorry for any typos...". Sometimes I turn it into a small interview of a few turns. But I find that the LLMs are somehow very good at reconstructing long incoherent rambles and often their echo of your own tangle of thoughts comes out quite a bit cleaner than what you started with. The result is that you improve the mind meld and have to correct things less from that point on.

We had a serious problem with deepfake powered scammers raising money using my and our firm’s name.
We found Outtake which has largely solved the problem as long as the Facebook’s of the world take these down as quickly as Outtake identifies them.
I liked the product so much I invested in the company.
