@cricketingview @ESPNcricinfo how else do u explain Zaheer Khans first over in 2003 WC? In fact Zaheer himself said he couldnt control his emotions and it got better off him in 2003 and learnt to be better in 2011. Cricket is played by humans. not robots KD.

@cricketingview @ESPNcricinfo you keep going back to audience watching tv argument. it makes no sense. i am talking about players psych when playing big games. this is not some pseudo science i am making up. Sports psychology as field exists. players mental conditioning coaches exists.

@cricketingview @ESPNcricinfo I am just not able to wrap my brain around the fact that performance under pressure as some sort of immeasurable metric exists pretty much in every field but not in cricket. dont you think it plays on a sportsperson mind what if I fail today? Pressure effects everyone

@cricketingview In any other sport, players out of form are immediately subbed or benched. Sometimes while the game is going on. should cricket adopt same? should a player be given extended run to regain form at the cost of losing a match/series.

@cricketingview Could it be thats the role assigned to him by team management? He definitely could play like Jos or Alex Hales. Are the numbers any different in IPL? And Rizwan and Babar are right there who were ranked top in t20 rankings as well right? trying to understand the point here
