@JoshCMandel@ONC_HealthIT If you have comments you've worked up aligned with this feedback I'm happy to sign on. Otherwise, happy to put our heads together to collaborate on something.
1/8 ๐งตAs an MD & software developer, I've been reflecting on @ONC_HealthIT's #HTI1 rule, which proposes recording patient preferences on data sharing without required providers to honor them. This can disappoint -- and it misses more pragmatic opportunities for patient control.
@MPalantoni@healthapiguy Interestingly, Twitter chose to hide your reply even though it's the most relevant thing to show. I guess you really do need to buy visibility these days ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Thx for setting the record straight!
@shreyas Healthcare senior PM role open at @MoxeHealth one or more of data, interoperability, payer/provider, RCM experience required. Some experience outside hc a plus.
@sjresnick I almost lost escrow on a house because a local decided to deduct all losses of our venture backed c corp from my personal W2 to determine loan eligibility.
This after promising me they understood business owners.
Scared me away for business banking for sure.
@johngrund@JustinWolfers There is going to be a ton of retrospective analysis to perform and there is certainly some dereliction of duty to evaluate.
Not trying to imply otherwise.
This is too nuanced for quick Twitter takes.
@johngrund@JustinWolfers The "VC cash" was LP cash. The LPs are groups like CalPERS and Texas Teachers who hold retirement accounts for millions of normal people.
That's not even the real issue. The companies holding deposits at SVB could be anyone's employer. Every business needs simple, secure banking
@JustinWolfers You know how this works.
There have been too many hot takes the last few days from too many sides. Please don't fan the embers.
Yes, we should prevent fires in advance. But once it's underway it's irresponsible not to contain the spread. (3/3)
@JustinWolfers They're you.
Where do you think most of those deposits originated?
Yes, HNW, family office and VCs benefit. But, so do the millions of teachers, first responders, union members and other pensioners who had funds wrapped up in these companies without even realizing it.

@NeilThanedar ๐ some people are cruel.
I hope they aren't a teacher, police officer, fireman, state employee or union worker. Lots of hard working Americans don't realize they have indirect exposure to SVB through their pensions and retirement accounts.
This isn't a tech vs everyone issue.
