While Scott Kirby attempts to deflect blame on the FAA, weather and everything in between, further flight delays are a direct result of poor planning by United Airlines executives. As pilots, we willingly disrupt our own plans and miss family obligations when delays or cancellations happen, and are ready to go above and beyond heading into a busy July 4 travel weekend to make sure passengers get to where they need to go, as we always have. The company is dragging its feet on taking any proactive measures to mitigate further delays, including on settling a new contract with us that will improve our quality of life, upgrade our scheduling system, and fundamentally prioritize the well-being of pilots. @ALPAPilots @UnitedPilots @united

BREAKING: The Supreme Court has ruled in favor of a concrete company that wanted to sue a union because a strike cost them money.

The 8-1 decision means the company, Glacier Northwest Inc., can sue the union over a strike where truck drivers left wet concrete in their trucks.

The California Assembly just passed a bill to limit security deposits to one month's rent.

San Francisco tenants have had to pay as much as $15,000 up front for a $5,000 apartment, the city's average 2br price tag.

California would be the 12th state to cap security deposits.
