Thank you to all of those who have served our great nation. Frank Gentry, “Pap”, served in the USMC in WWII, fighting at Iwo Jima and many other islands in the Pacific. At 98, he is still going strong. He will always be my hero!
Today was my last day as principal at Brevard High School. I will miss my Blue Devil Family dearly! What a great five years it has been. I am now the Vice President of Educational Programs for MATCH Wellness and I am very excited about this new chapter in my career!

These schools are an important part of our state's history. My wife's uncle, Greg Jacobs, continues to do great work for the Coharie Tribe in this very building.

Every January, we pause to honor the crews of Apollo 1 and space shuttles Challenger and Columbia, who sacrificed their lives while furthering the cause of space exploration and discovery. We honor their legacy and have them in our hearts always. #NASARemembers
At 4pm on Friday afternoon, two students walked in and handed me these hand-written notes. I was speechless. Our students know and appreciate how hard we are working to provide them a safe and welcoming place to learn during the pandemic.
