**100 Miles Man **
Brigadier Karthik V, VSM, Dy MS in the O/o #DGAFMS at 52 years of age is the only #AFMS officer to have achieved the phenomenal milestone of participating in the 100 mile (161 km) Border Hell Race. The event was held on 14 Dec 2024 from Jaisalmer to Laungewala in commemoration of the epic battle of 1971. Just a month ago the officer successfully completed the Khadakvasla 100 km on 17 Nov 2024. He is also the only #AFMS Officer to have participated in both 100 miles and 100 km ultra marathons in two consecutive months in Nov and Dec 2024. He is a prolific ultra-distance runner who has completed numerous challenges like the Bhatti Lakes 100km, Khardungla Challenge, the Border Hell race 50 km, Red Stone Ultra 50 km among many others. Surg VAdm Arti Sarin, #DGAFMS and the #AFMS compliment the officer and Doctor of the Armed Forces.
