Passionately applying neuroscience to business and education for two decades! I am an award-winning communications proffesional, acedemic, speaker, author.
What if #intelligence and #consciousness were NOT the same thing? By confusing consciousness with intelligence we might be ignoring suffering- in society and nature- where it really exists and we might be providing #moral and other #privileges where there is no actual need for.
What if less #consciousness is key to a more fulfilling life?
What if all this noise around achieving "higher consciousness" is a one-way street to a miserable life?
Our brains are experiential and relational.

#neuroscience is crucial for revising past theories. A new #EEG study found that #babies, although "externally" seem to be trying to speak phonetically, "internally" their #brains work differently: they learn to speak rhythmically (PsyPost). Without neuro we just cannot be sure!

During my trips I sometimes get lucky and capture amazing #MOMENTS with my phone camera. Here is one of my favorites this year.
Such moments often remind us of the #paradoxes of life: #beauty and #harshness co-existing in every corner of our #existence. In #life, need both.
@thinkingblx David this is an interesting paradox: we perceive by default only what is real. So, for us to see anything metaphysical, this has to shed its "meta" and to stay just "physical", raising the serious question of if it was actually "meta" in the first place! π
Observing the wondrous creations of the human mind we often get the impression that mind and body are different: the mind is creative/free/eternal, the body is limited/confined/temporary.
Why is it difficult to accept that the mind is bodily, tangible too.. and still wonderous?
