Let’s talk about the ending of Steven Spielberg’s new alien blockbuster ‘Disclosure Day,’ and how we’re meant to take that final word. https://t.co/GI5ih2TzoP
…her arc also centering on finding her own individuality within that newly gained empathy…not to be all “as someone who just finished an MSW,” but as someone who just finished an MSW, I was bowled over but how she played that internal conflict. Just beautiful stuff. (2/2)
Emily Blunt’s arc in DISCLOSURE DAY wrecked me. Like yes, this movie—like a great many movies—is at its core about expanding our ability to empathize. That lands, but…(1/2)

Ohhhh I am obsessed with GOD OF WAR LAUFEY already! Rather than going "let's do Egyptian/Hindu/fill-in-the-blank mythology," we're getting a weirdo world between worlds centered around the death of the gods?! That is AWESOME!

And like, the animation is just insane. It’s one of the most beautifully animated American series ever made, maybe number 1 when just considering CG animation.
So, MAUL - SHADOW LORD kinda rocks actually. Better suited for binging than week-to-week I think, but it’s a good story that reassesses and deepens the motivations around light and dark. A little predicable, but tees up a second season that would probably be a lot thornier.
