@WCEDnews Could you confirm whether a signed OTP for a house can be used as proof of residence?

If not, what options are available to families moving to the Western Cape in 2026 but after the 2026 school year application window?

@graeme0811 I weep when I sleep

[Nicholas Gorven @dr_draik]

@thegregdavies I always loved how much was going on in it, and the colours were just perfect.

Not sure if anyone's ever mentioned it to you, but you're a heck of an artist!

This strikes a chord with me. I know I was most certainly "loud and wrong" at various times when I was younger. Now I'm definitely right, of course. And loud.

@gussilber It's also not entirely reliable... https://t.co/WKi1y9iEck

@thegregdavies Detritus the sprite? Going to take a while to grow up into a full size troll!

@vicardave Is your ceiling Quiet Quitting? Has the Great Resignation hit your emotional state yet? Are your geysers cold comfort? All this and more, on Dave's timeline!

Sorry, this sounds a hassle upon hassles. :/

@thegregdavies @Adobe @PlusNarrative @dunwoody_byron @figma You're just adobe's beta testers

[Nicholas Gorven @dr_draik]

@thegregdavies Adobe's share price fell 13% after the announcement. Karma?

[Nicholas Gorven @dr_draik]

@vicardave Eish, that's fairly special. Amazing how quickly a helpful intention paired with little context leads to incredibly reductive suggestions.

Sending an email requiring action and confirmation while having out of office set so you get an automated response is a kind of power play, and I'm not here for it.

@timhobden Many people have no idea of the visa inequity across the world :/

[Nicholas Gorven @dr_draik]

@vicardave I hope you can get a spot in the sun, at least!

I'd say it is uniquely South African for an airline to announce flights are cancelled indefinitely overnight, but weirdly enough, it isn't.

Still flipping annoying though.

[Nicholas Gorven @dr_draik]

@MandyLisa21 This may even be lies.

- It is clearly acceptable to some people that we endure load-shedding
- Not everything in their means is being done for either load-shedding or state capture
- Neither will soon be a thing of the past

One day...

@thegregdavies "Went in thinking it was a dessert, but turned out to be the main course. Interesting colours and textures, but a bit dry."

[Patton Oswalt @pattonoswalt]

What an intriguing medical mystery! Guess we’ll never know the answer to this one!
