@jprgooch I was the first LTFT trainee in my specialty in my region. 25 years ago. Very tricky to set up, and I had to explain to every hospital on the rotation how it worked. I got sick of people asking what I did on my days off! I am so sorry it isn’t easier now. It really should be.

@ClarisaSurgeon Interesting. I wonder how one would find a surgical ‘coach’? I can’t imagine anyone I knew being very effective in that role. (Maybe I was unlucky!) When I went from being a consultant surgeon to a senior leadership role in the NHS, we all had coaches and it was really helpful.
