@SportDocBedford @danfascia I agree with @danfascia, it only takes a few weeks for us to feel (slightly) out of touch. Like with anything, repetition and pattern recognition are key with no substitute for hands-on experience.

@SportDocBedford @DrMarwanAl_D @smfowler_shaun @TendonImaging There isn’t an abundance of data but a study in Lincolnshire concluded ‘it is beneficial to offer it to patients who can tolerate it and who have not fully benefitted after a single procedure.’ It was done this way where I did my fellowship and seemed to be quite effective!

@SportDocBedford @DrMarwanAl_D I have often found a 2-stage approach (2x hydrodistentions +/- steroid approximately, 2 weeks apart) with PT starting a few days after the first procedure, works quite effectively.

I have exceeded the annual allowance in 4 out of my first 5 years as a consultant.

This weekend I could be doing extra hours reporting our backlog of cancer scans. Instead I’ll be trying to work out if I have a AA tax charge and looking to see if I should reduce my sessions.
