Indigenous people do not need to prove their claims of mass murder perpetrated at residential schools. Although there is no physical evidence of a single murder, no one is entitled to demand access to their dead as a condition of believing that indigenous children were murdered on an industrial scale.

As white people, we are, if not all personally descended from Residential School genociders, as is our current Prime Minister Mark Carney, whose father personally victimized and possibly murdered some thousands of indigenous children, we are by virtue of our skin colour equally morally and legally culpable for the genocide.
