📊 New 4-Year Study: mRNA COVID Vaccines & Mortality

A 2025 JAMA Network Open study followed 28 million French adults (18–59) for almost 4 years. Key takeaway:

👉 No increased long-term mortality from mRNA COVID vaccines.

In fact, vaccinated adults had a 25% lower risk of death from any cause compared to unvaccinated adults, after adjusting for age, sex, socioeconomic status, and 41 comorbidities.

Other findings:
🔹74% lower risk of death from severe COVID-19 in vaccinated individuals.
🔹Lower mortality across major causes (cancer, cardiovascular disease, external causes).
🔹Short-term mortality was 29% lower within 6 months of vaccination.

📌 Bottom line:
Four years of national-level data show no signal of excess mortality—and suggest long-term safety of mRNA vaccines.

The Vice President @faisalnasym officially inaugurated today (16.08.2023) the Maldives National Cancer Center's Oncology Ward at IGMH, Developed with assistance of @bankofmaldives.

The Oncology ward is established for medical support services for cancer diagnosis, treatment and management.

The ward features eight beds and provides a range of medical and support services.
