Yesterday was my last day as a post-doc @PsychUoA. I will miss all the wonderful people, researchers, students and friends I met and made over the last two years. Here is to new adventures, who knows what the future holds!
@jarlogan We end our fortnightly lab meetings with a round table of our “achievements, updates & appreciations”. We also have a quarterly “Finer Things” meeting where we celebrate with cheese, crackers, wine & other yummies.
Cumulative science is important. One result isn't a given. Reviewers still state things shouldn't be published because they are not novel enough. Yeh that's how we got into this replicabilty mess in the first place guys! #teamcumulativescience

Makes me so sad evertime a new mother who has had a traumatic birth says “all that matters is the baby is ok”. Yes that matters, but mothers matter too. We need to heal women who’ve suffered birth trauma, not dismiss their experience as irrelevant.

When I compare it’s never to minimise threat of terrorism but to highlight far greater danger that gets no action/funding/leadership because its women dying at hands of everyday men
@kristynhensby @frankiefong Makes total sense. So much of the concern re: screens is the absence of the social element. Add it back in and I imagine it ameliorates much of the shortcomings. If you’ve got any good papers care to share?
