Proud to work with a great team at @UFHealth Aortic Disease Center. Simultaneous acute type A repairs last week then Ascending TEVAR in high risk patient with acute type A. Another Covid surge but patients still need treatment for aortic disease!
Our pediatric cardiology & heart surgery program at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital is ranked #7 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. We’re proud to be the highest-ranked program in Florida! https://t.co/lEaExHqorU
@emily_fri CT surgery fellow here. Management usually requires vascular reconstruction in an infected field, no role for stent (so no vascular or IR). ENT can be helpful with long-term airway care but not acutely. Call CTS first, will determine appropriate management.
CTS trainees can play many roles in the treatment of the critically ill. We must understand how we can help in #COVID19 and other public health crises and the impact this has on our training.
Also: the release of our COVID-19 survey evaluating the impact of the pandemic specifically on CT surgery training. Please add your perspective to this important collaboration & enter to win a gift card or copy of TSRA Clinical Scenarios 2nd Ed: https://t.co/K5HQGuknal
@DrTylerWallen@KirstenAFreeman Sorry it probably wasn’t hot anymore. On the plus side, the pike from Sbucks tastes better lukewarm than the stuff from Opus.
#UMNProud of our recent @umnmedschool general surgery residency graduate Dr. Bauman who will be staying with our surgery program as a #criticalcare surgery fellow.
We are #UMProud of our recent @umnmedschool surgical residents. Looking forward to following Dr. Miotke's career as he begins a burn surgery fellowship at @shrinershosp at the University of California.
