Of course, the administration can appeal, but there’s nothing secret or sinister about a judge deciding an urgent case urgently and posting the ruling on the public docket. Sounds like a judge working diligently for justice. But this AG would rather undermine public confidence in the judiciary.

🚨He spent years slapping anti-child abuse frames on his Facebook profile picture. Now he’s the one facing child abuse charges.

Gregory Curtis Daffron, 35, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, was just arrested sporting a “Gulf of America” shirt on 44 felony counts of possessing or using child s*xual abuse material.

Investigators say it started with two cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in early September. Google handed over details tied to an account called “Honey Badger,” including an IP address, email, and date of birth. Police say that account was used to upload 44 videos showing the s*xual abuse of children.

The IP address traced back to a Jonesboro home through the internet provider. The birth date on the account matched Daffron’s, which is how police say they identified him as the owner.

On Sept. 22, Jonesboro PD’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit, SWAT, the U.S. Marshals Service, and the FBI raided his home. They arrested him and seized his devices.

A judge found probable cause, set his bond at $250,000 cash or surety, and barred him from internet access on any device.

Under his Bible quote profile text, his old Facebook posts include “Let Kids Stay Kids” and “Child Abuse Prevention Awareness” profile frames, plus shares about foster care, child welfare worker appreciation, and stopping child trafficking.

His voter Arkansas voter registration lists him as a Republican.

Daffron does not appear to be a drag queen, trans, Muslim, or undocumented immigrant.

In early September, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children contacted our department about CSAM material uploaded to a Google account.
Google provided the account's IP address, along with an email address and date of birth. The IP address appeared to belong to Optimum Communications in Jonesboro, AR. Arkansas State Police served a subpoena on Optimum for subscriber information for the IP address, and it returned an address on Harrisburg Road linked to a woman with the last name Daffron.
A search of that woman and the address found that her husband was Gregory Daffron, and he also lived at the address on Harrisburg Rd. Upon gathering information on Gregory Daffron, it was found that his date of birth was the same date of birth given on the account of Honey Badger that uploaded the 44 videos of Child Sexual Abuse Material to the Google account.
Authorities issued a warrant, and Gregory Daffron was arrested on Tuesday, September 22nd. He appeared before a judge, who set a $250,000 bond and denied him internet access.
