BREAKING: IRANIAN military official warns UAE: Become ISRAELI’s “pawn” and your interests become legitimate targets. “– Tasnim
An Iranian military official issued warned in response to reports of threats attributed to the UAE that if the UAE were to “become a pawn of Israel” and take action, Iran would respond forcefully, adding that Emirati interests could become targets.
Any escalation would lead to a broader response, stating Iran would no longer exercise restraint and could treat the UAE as part of Israel in the conflict.

🚨#BREAKING: Photos just posted by Donald Trump appear to show the suspect identified as Cole Thomas Allen, a 31-year-old teacher from California on the ground surrounded by law enforcement officers at the Washington Hilton following the shooting at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
I joined the Rutamwebwa family in a thanksgiving ceremony honoring the late Yoweri and Esta while raising funds for Bishop Girls Rushere in Kiruhura District. I thank their son, Tayebwa, for maintaining his parents' legacy. I’m grateful for their pioneering role in religion—next year marks 60 years since I first met this remarkable couple. I encouraged everyone to adopt zero-grazing, irrigation, and avoid land fragmentation to ensure a stable milk supply. We will continue supporting the school initiatives.
Today, I celebrated the 100th birthday of Mzee Thomas Kayangire in Kashari. It's a rare milestone, and he achieved it through his dedication to a healthy life.
I joined the celebration to honor his years of service. Back in 1965, while I was in High school, Mzee Kaguta gifted me 22 heifers, and Kayangire rode his bicycle to help me care for them, demonstrating his commitment to serve everyone, regardless of age or status.
His kindness has always stayed with me. When he invited me to his wedding anniversary in 2008 and again today, I came to show my appreciation. Mzee Kayangire’s long life reflects the rewards of serving others.
I thank the @RockefellerFdn, @WFP, @AGRA_Africa, and our team at the @Educ_SportsUg for joining us in a vital conversation—how to feed our children in school and keep them learning with dignity.
This weekend, Maama Janet and I had lunch with some of our children and grandchildren. In addition to holding prayers, we wished all Ugandans a happy Easter and called on everyone to work hard to chase poverty from their homes.
He is Risen!
This Easter, may the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ fill the hearts of every Ugandan with renewed hope, faith, and the peace that only God can provide. Let us reflect on His love and walk in His light as a nation.
