A country is built by investing in ALL its people and what they rely on: clean air, land and water, becuase this leads to good health, jobs and education. If we don't build the foundations, no patch up job will work. The budget = patch up = opportunity missed. @scottishgreens

WAKE UP! Climate breakdown means we are at the tipping point as the dangers of a collapse of the main Atlantic Ocean circulation grow, within the next few decades for countries like Scotland, the risks will raise the question whether we can continue to live here. @scottishgreens

Carbon sink collapse is being ignored & could thrust us into chaos. The great forests & microscopic algae of the seas of our planet are being wiped out due to claimate change, yet all we hear is backtracking on commitments to net zero & biodiversity. Shameful. @scottishgreens

@Global_Witness New Labour MPs, including Sue Grey's MP son and Starmer-linked think tank take over £45,000 from oil and gas lobbyists in August, in September Labour launches £22billion fossil fuel "subsidy" via carbon and dirty hydrogen plans. Coincidence? @scottishgreens

@scottishgreens have shown the lead, and well done to those who supported this motion that maintains free bus travel for asylum seekers. A win for a fair and progressive Scotland.

The Scottish Parliament, including the SNP, has just voted for our motion that bus travel should be free for people seeking asylum in Scotland!

After opposing the policy in August, the Scottish Government must now confirm how they will progress the scheme.

The Labour government is lurching from a bonkers "Trumpian" £22billion dirty carbon capture plan to burning biomass (ie trees) imported from countries including North Korea and Afghanistan. Here's an idea don't cut but plant trees = carbon capture = hit net zero. @scottishgreens
