That was exactly where I expected them. Like after 2006, Bilić takes over and hopefully modernizes the way Croatia plays. We saw how Kovačić is dangerous when attacking directly instead of constantly going sideways. Sučić and Baturina also like this fast and direct transition football. Now only defense is needed to support this. Gvardiol and Vušković need to step in and become a CB pair.
