I've been MIA from Twitter for awhile mainly because I don't like the new X format but as an update, my two-year-old now calls me Dada because he loves the Jimmy Fallon book, "Your baby's first word will be DADA" and husband goes by papa so someone has to be Dada, right?
@NLM_NIH I have been unable to access NCBI resources for about a month now. I get a 400 "Bad Request" error when I try to access my biosketches and I wasn't able to submit a support desk request because the Captcha function was working. Any updates on what is going on?
In speech-language pathology, the term resonance refers to how nasal a person’s speech sounds. For example, when someone is congested they likely sound hyponasal (nasal enough). This is due to the congestion blocking sound from being resonated in the nose. https://t.co/7q3TAPyUF3
Speech intelligibility refers to how many words can be correctly understood by a listener. Intelligibility can become reduced in ataxia, particularly with longer words. https://t.co/zgq3ONdprD
Speech not only consists of the words we say, but how we say them. That “how” is what is called prosody: the pitch, loudness, and timing of speech. #Ataxia https://t.co/wMmOXdjgtY

My fall courses are up on Canvas! When I started teaching in 2020, I watched an amazing youtube video on how to build a Canvas course. They recommended making banners for each course so here are my course banners for the semester! I made them on Adobe Express.
