From 15-17 September 2026, ten khwarij belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-Al-Khwarij were killed in multiple engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. While six brave sons of the soil paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat.

On reported presence of khwarij, an intelligence based operation was conducted by Security Forces in North Waziristan District. During conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged khwarij location and after intense exchange of fire, six khwarij belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij were sent to hell. In another encounter that took place in Hangu District, own troops successfully neutralized four more Khwarij.

On 17 September 26, an improvised explosive device exploded on security forces convoy, resultantly, six brave sons of soil, rendered the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat.

Weapons and ammunition have also been recovered from killed Indian sponsored khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area, as relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country. These sacrifices of our brave soldiers further reinforce our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation at all costs.

🎓 A long-overdue win for Pakistan’s academic community.

University professors on the Tenure Track System had been working on frozen salaries since 2021, in the middle of rising inflation. The result? A growing risk of brain drain as top researchers and PhD holders look abroad.

Federal Minister Prof. Ahsan Iqbal took direct notice, constituting a Special Task Force to recommend competitive, market-aligned pay scales for top-tier faculty.

The recommendations have been approved.

This move reflects a clear policy conviction: you cannot build a knowledge economy without investing in those who build knowledge.

Under PM Shehbaz Sharif’s quality education vision, every rupee spent on education is an investment in Pakistan’s future.
