Players like Bellingham, Mbappe, Haaland are people who have been told all their lives that they can be the best in the world at what they do.

They believe it. They live it.

You see it in how they carry themselves. They know they are gifted and they are not shy about it.

I like the fact that they’re solid examples of how important parents are in football. We’ve had footballers purely made by systems but in those three cases, they were made by deliberate parenting decisions for their careers.

They could be struggling on the pitch but someone is driving it into their ears at home that they are elite and are better than others with reminders about how far they’ve come.

There’s something I just love about how much belief they have in themselves. Special mentality.
