Take-Two is escalating its hunt for the people behind the GTA 6 leaks.

The company has filed subpoenas seeking information from Microsoft and Discord that could help identify the people connected to the leaks.

Microsoft is being asked for data including account details, IP addresses, phone numbers, linked Xbox/Google accounts, and Windows device identifiers such as MachineGuid and MSA IDs.

Take-Two is also seeking information on users who communicated in three Discord servers connected to the investigation, including associated device and telemetry data. The requests cover activity from June 1, 2026 onward.

Both Microsoft and Discord have reportedly been given until September 4 to provide the requested information.

🚨BREAKING: Sony killed physical discs and now Microsoft is trolling them with TWO companies at once.

First Xbox advertised physical discs for the new Halo game right after Sony killed disc production.

Now GitHub, also owned by Microsoft, just launched a promo letting developers burn their code onto a physical CD-ROM with the tagline "your code is physically yours, forever."

Two Microsoft-owned companies trolling Sony within days of each other.

Both timed perfectly with the backlash from GTA VI shipping without a disc and Sony announcing all discs are done by 2028.

The irony is Microsoft has been pushing digital harder than anyone for years.

PlayStation fought hard and got the previous community note on the post removed, but now they have an even better one.

According to the note, based on leaked info, they lied.

Rockstar Support confirmed that GTA 6 physical disc copies will be available in the months following launch.

“You will be able to acquire a physical copy during the following months.”

The current physical pre-orders are for the digital code-in-box version.
