In our first 2025 episode, I am joined by Jooyeol Oh, Principal at @MG2_design in their Seattle Office.
We have a fantastic conversation about the 6 Corners Lofts Project in Chicago!
Located in Chicago’s Portage Park, the historic Sears building at 4714 W Irving Park Road has undergone a remarkable transformation.
The building started as an Art Deco Sears department store and warehouse that opened its doors in 1938 and operated until 2018, marking the end of an era.
However, thanks to the visionary efforts of MG2, in collaboration with @ColliersEng & Design and client @NovakCC, this iconic structure has been reborn as the 6 Corners Lofts—a dynamic mixed-use development combining retail and residential spaces.

This is great news! It’s been a few years since video recordings were available post-conference.
When I’m drinking from the firehose it’s nice to know that I can come back later to refresh my knowledge with second helpings! #draw2build#masstimber#experts#design#arch#boise
We are thrilled to announce that we'll now have video recordings of most every educational session at the event, and available to attendees one week after the conference ends.
Register by tomorrow, February 19, to receive 20% off select passes.
