@parabasis reading The Method after coming back from a gathering of climate activists who chose DLU as the evening film to watch, I'm once again exasperated that you chose to jump on the bandwagon of myopic, guilt-driven criticism of this piece of mainstream climate art.
@mikeives@johnjyoon@yanzhuang25 You are all reporting on U.C.L.A. without making clear that the violence was pro-Israel individuals attacking peaceful protestors. You use vague and misleading language like violence "erupting." Why? It is incredibly irresponsible and biased.
@johnjyoon The very clear goal is to spread the narrative that the anti-war protestors are the cause of this violence. Why not report what actually happened?
@johnjyoon very curious why you and other @nytimes reporting vaguely say that "violence erupted" at UCLA without mentioning the violence was pro-Israeli individuals attacking peaceful protestors. This is misleading and irresponsible journalism. @AliWatkins
@hereandnow and @pchh did you guys do a segment on Oscars acceptance speech moments and not mention Jonathan Glazer? Or did I miss it? Hope you didn't omit mention of his very significant move to connect his film to the current reality in Gaza!
@anemonanyc also curious if the @nytimes remembers that @LHSummers resigned in disgrace from his position as Harvard's president. Why, too, is the @nytimes so determined to amplify his every opinion?
@anemonanyc Serious question: does the @nytimes have a policy of reporting on anything Bill Ackman says? He has no expertise in academia and no formal connection to Harvard. Why do you continue to act as his personal press secretary?
@BillAckman I don't know why you think reminding people of @NeriOxman 's connections to Epstein is going to be a winning strategy but it certainly is not https://t.co/huX6IOIEdG
@BillAckman Claudine Gay faced massive consequences and public admonishment. I look forward to hearing what significant consequences @NeriOxman will face for her plagiarism. For some reason you consider 28 instances (thus far) of the latter an "honest mistake" but not the former?
@BillAckman@MIT "The 2011 paper included more than 100 words exactly as they appeared in the 2005 book 'Rapid Manufacturing: An Industrial Revolution for the Digital Age,' without quotation marks, citation, or a mention in Oxman's bibliography." https://t.co/P224tJNIzC
@BillAckman I guess for the moment you are setting aside the many other instances of plagiarism that BI uncovered in her work? In answer to your questions, here ya go: https://t.co/rxgOY8x7Ob Hope this helps lol
@BillAckman Or how about this one? "She pulled material from 'Path planning of functionally graded material objects for layered manufacturing,' a 2004 paper by M.Y. Zhou, without mentioning it in her bibliography." https://t.co/P224tJNIzC
