Usually, bids, offers, and negotiations between clubs are never made public. I don't think I've ever seen a club release an official statement saying they made an offer for a player and had it rejected. Clubs usually either announce the signing officially or say nothing at all.
That's why I find this whole situation strange. It feels like Real Madrid wanted this information to become public because it makes the negotiations more difficult for us. Now everyone knows that even an offer of β¬150m was supposedly rejected by Atleti.
Honestly, I wouldn't even be surprised if the offer was never actually made and the whole thing was coordinated with Atleti because it benefits both sides. One side gets to show they're not willing to sell at any price, while the other makes it publicly clear that he fulfilled his promise and made the 150m offer.
We're so big that we're actually making two rival clubs work together against us.
π (TER STEGEN): Marc Andre ter Stegen will leave Barcelona, atleast that is the expectation of everyone involved in the situation.
Barça has made it very clear to him since January, that the best solution possible, is for them to part ways, and for him to play regularly somewhere else.
