A new chapter in healthcare delivery begins in West Bengal with the implementation of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, the world’s largest health coverage programme. The MoU signed between the Government of West Bengal and the National Health Authority is a transformative step towards ensuring comprehensive healthcare access for millions of families.

With the implementation of #AyushmanBharat PM-JAY in West Bengal, approximately 1.43 crore families will now be able to benefit from the scheme. The portability feature of PM-JAY will greatly benefit migrant workers from West Bengal and their families. Beneficiaries working or residing in other States will be able to avail cashless treatment at empanelled hospitals across the country, ensuring seamless access to healthcare.

Under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji, the Government is committed to provide affordable, accessible and equitable healthcare to every citizen of country.
