Last week, I was deeply disturbed hearing Baba Adeboye say, “Even little children now call me stupid.” Something is going terribly wrong.

There is a DIGITAL RECKLESSNESS spreading through a generation. People now say things behind screens that they would NEVER have the courage to say standing before the person. Social media has given everybody a microphone, but A MICROPHONE IS NOT A MANDATE.

Scripture says, “Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father” (1 Timothy 5:1). Jude warns about those who “despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities” (Jude 8). Peter describes people who are “presumptuous” and “not afraid to speak evil of dignities” (2 Peter 2:10).

These are not casual warnings.

And Christian bloggers, BE CAREFUL!

Do not build your income on the destruction of honour in the Body of Christ. Do not discover that outrage pays and then deliberately keep believers angry because anger produces clicks.

Do not turn dishonour into a business model.

Do not cut clips to manufacture wars. Do not create inflammatory headlines to pitch ministers against one another. Do not monetise insults, rage and accusations and then call it “Christian content.”

There is money you should be AFRAID to make.

There are views you should not want.

There are conversations you should refuse to amplify.

Young people, hear me: the internet has not suspended the fear of God.

You can disagree without dishonour.

You can question without insulting.

You can examine doctrine without becoming abusive.

Do not mistake rudeness for boldness, mockery for discernment, rage for revelation or virality for divine approval.

Scripture still says, “Honour all men” (1 Peter 2:17).

Your keyboard did not cancel that command.

PUT THE FEAR OF GOD BACK INTO YOUR DIGITAL LIFE.

Because some clicks are simply too expensive for your soul.

THE INTIMIDATING NUMBERS BEHIND THE RCCG - The Imminent Fall of Peter Obi and his Pack of Rabid Dogs.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God was founded in 1952 by Pa Josiah Akindayomi.

Pa Akindayomi was a vessel of profound spiritual weight, yet modest in earthly scholarship; he found in young Enoch Adeboye a scholar’s intellect paired with an apostle’s devotion. E.A. Adeboye was indeed both a divine and enlightened asset to the RCCG.

In 1981, Pastor E.A. Adeboye became the General Overseer of the RCCG.

Children of my generation; and certainly the generations that followed - may not fully grasp the weight of grace that descended upon that ministry the day Baba Adeboye rose to the mantle.

For the RCCG that Pastor Adeboye inherited was no cathedral. It was a relatively small, economically disadvantaged, largely insignificant ministry - Nigerian-bound, with fewer than 40 hut-sized parishes to its name.

No Continental presence, No International significance and membership was in some uninspiring few thousands...

The church was a financially struggling entity that Pastor Adeboye had to run much of the activities from his salaries as a lecturer. The proverbial church rat, that ancient symbol of poverty in English folklore, could allegedly have filed its headquarters address as RCCG.

Under Pastor Adeboye’s stewardship, the trajectory of the RCCG broke every law of conventional institutional growth:

1. RCCG evolved from a tiny ministry of under 40 struggling parishes into one of the world's largest Pentecostal expressions, with over 50,000 global parishes - an increase of over 1,000-fold... Unequaled in modern ecclesiastical history.

2. The church expanded from a single-country ministry into a presence spanning 197 countries and territories. RCCG once humbly queued behind the White Garment churches, the orthodox ministries, even the CAC - and has since become the continent's largest Christian assembly.

3. A congregation once counted in the sparse thousands swelled into the World's largest Pentecostal denomination under an African leader, exceeding 9 million members worldwide.

4. The church, standing beneath an overwhelming outpouring of divine provision through Pa Adeboye's tenure, metamorphosed so radically that it moved headquarters - from a modest, single-compound plot in Ebute-Meta, Lagos - to the intimidating Redemption City: roughly 25 square kilometres, 6,178 acres, some 37,500 standard Nigerian plots, sprawled along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in Ogun State.

By comparison, Vatican City - seat of the oldest and most storied Christian institution on earth - measures omly 0.49 square kilometres.

Now, Pastor Adeboye is unmistakably a man upon whom God's grace and favour rest generously - almost, some would say, to the point of perceived bias. But grace alone does not lift a man to such heights. It is hard work, discipline, and brilliance that build the staircase grace then walks upon.

It is however such a man of monumental legacy, value and accomplishments, Peter Obi and his pack of rabid dogs have spent years unleashing torrents of denigration, insults, ridicule, curses, disrespect and disdain, simply because the 84 year old Man of God refused to bow to political coercion or lend his sacred pulpit to endorse their demonic, divisive and mediocre candidate.

A dog barking at an elephant does not disturb the rhythm of the forest; it only exhausts the dog.

To attempt to pull down this towering pillar of global spiritual architecture with transient online rage is the height of political delusion and the foundations for your own imminent fall. He who was never owed an answer has no right to rage at the answer he did not receive. Adeboye owes no man his endorsement.

To assault a legacy built over decades of painstaking labor and formidable divine covering with transient political fury is to shoot arrows at the sun.

A Celebration of Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye

There comes a time when silence becomes ingratitude.

There comes a time when honour becomes a sacred duty.

There comes a time when sons and daughters must rise to celebrate the gifts that God has given to a generation.

This is such a time.

We refuse to be silent while men and women of eternal significance are reduced to headlines, controversies, and social media trends.

We refuse to stand by while those who have sacrificed decades in service to God and humanity are casually criticized by people who have built nothing, fathered nobody, planted no churches, and transformed no nations.

The sons and daughters of prophets must never be silent while cheap publicity seekers use great men as instruments for attention.

A generation that does not honour its fathers has no future.

A people who cannot recognize greatness in their midst will eventually suffer the tragedy of its absence.

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye is not merely a church leader.

He is not merely a denomination head.

He is not merely a respected minister.

He is one of the most significant Christian leaders of our generation and one of the greatest spiritual gifts God has given to Africa and the global Church.

We should never allow a man who chose humility to become the chewing stick of the uninformed.

We should never permit the noise of critics to drown out the voice of history.

We should never watch while modern-day Sauls seek to intimidate, discredit, or silence God's servants.

Scripture records how King Saul pursued David.

Scripture records how Doeg the Edomite became an instrument of destruction against the priests of God.

Throughout history, political power has often sought to suppress prophetic voices.

Yet God has always preserved His servants and vindicated His purpose.

The Church must never become indifferent when its fathers are unfairly attacked.

Nor should we wait until our prophets cross into eternity before we begin to celebrate them.

Too often, flowers are sent to funerals when they should have been delivered while the recipient was still alive.

Dear Nigerians (who mean well),

Do not let them demonise those helping to build our systems. We cannot be seen to always antagonise enterprise and entrepreneurs.

The men and women building this country must always get the support they need. And when they share their opinions, you are free to disagree, but it must never be seen as an opportunity to take down or destroy. Don't let others use you to undermine yourself.

We need development to happen at scale. This is a tough climate to build. Let's not be blind to our challenges.

It is as if we think we are the only people in the world with smartphones or that we are the best content creators on earth. It is honestly embarrassing to see countless footages flying around from Anthony Joshua’s accident scene. Why would anyone even think of recording someone at such a critical moment instead of offering support or at least basic human decency?

Had this accident happened in the UK, I can confidently say that even with far more sophisticated gadgets, it would be extremely difficult to see a single photo or video of him while he was trying to regain himself.

Respect for privacy, especially in moments of vulnerability, is not optional, it is a mark of a civilized society.
